The application phase for volunteers and ball kids at the BMW Open 2025 starts immediately. Become part of our team and experience the event behind the scenes.
We are looking for volunteers who would like to make an important contribution to the success of this great event. It’s a great opportunity not only to experience the event up close, but also to play a part in making it a success. The BMW Open 2025 will take place from April 12 to 20, 2025, i.e. during the Easter break. The final will take place on Easter Sunday this year.
We are looking for support in the following areas:
From the age of 13:
Ballkinder: Would you like to stand on a court with your tennis idols? Then become a ball kid at the BMW Open and be the one who throws the match ball to the winner. We will of course prepare an exemption request for your school. These requests are usually approved by the respective schools.
From the age of 16:
Hostess: As a hostess you represent the BMW Open and take care of the well-being of the visitors, sponsors and media representatives in the various areas on the course.
Logistics: The Logistics department is responsible for ensuring that all transportation to and from the tournament is carried out in an orderly, timely and conflict-free manner. Truck transports must be received outside the hall, directed to the correct entrances and the correct contact persons must be contacted by the tournament organization.
Press: Be it the daily news, the website or social media – there are many channels to use during the tournament! Support the BMW Open press team and be the contact person for other press representatives.
Iphitos Members’ Lounge: As a hostess in the Iphitos Members’ Lounge during the BMW Open 2025, you will warmly welcome the members and sponsors of MTTC Iphitos e.V. and provide them with first-class service. Your tasks will include receiving and looking after members.
From the age of 18:
Ticketing: Manage and sell tickets for the BMW Open for spectators and VIPs.
Player support: Taking care of the well-being of the players at the MTTC Iphitos facility. Among other things, coordinate the players’ training sessions and the shuttles between the facility and the hotel where the players are staying.
Infopoint/Guestservice: Answer visitors’ questions about the course and the tournament schedule.
Event team: Organize all events that take place around the BMW Open. These include, for example, the Kids Day with selected professional players, the draw for the main draw at the start of the tournament and the award ceremony at the end.
Tournament management: Your tasks are to organize everything around the tournament. This includes the coordination of matches, playing times and courts. If something is missing, you step in and provide a replacement.
Driver for errands: For example, there is a lack of office supplies, food or the players have certain wishes? Then you come into play and act as a driver for such errands.
IT / Technology: Ticketing, press, tournament organization, sponsors, ATP – all need a fast and stable Internet connection, as well as a well thought-out and functioning IT infrastructure. Are you a technology fan? Support the technical team of the BMW Open in setting up the tournament IT and supporting all departments during the tournament.
