Men’s Regionalliga Süd Ost: Relegation to the Bayernliga
The MTTC Iphitos Munich men’s team suffered a bitter relegation to the Bayernliga. Despite a great effort and a narrow victory against TC Amberg am Schanzl, it was not enough in the end to stay in the league. The strength of the opponents and some unfortunate defeats were the decisive factors. The team is now looking optimistically to the future and wants to tackle promotion again with a young, hungry team.
Women’s Regional League South East: Solid 3rd place
The women’s team finished their first regional league season after relegation from the 2nd Bundesliga in a respectable 3rd place. After a difficult start to the season with a narrow defeat against the team that was later promoted, three important victories followed, which secured the team’s retention in the league at an early stage. The team thus proved its quality and showed that it is also one of the top teams in the regional league. For the coming season, the women are aiming for promotion back to the 2nd Bundesliga and are highly motivated.
Youth teams: Successful season
A total of 17 youth teams from MTTC Iphitos Munich achieved considerable success. The U18 girls and the U10-1 team in particular won their groups and qualified for the final round of the Southern Bavarian Team Championships. The U15 teams and the mixed Bambini teams also impressed with strong placings. These performances reflect the club’s outstanding youth work and allow us to look to the future with optimism. The club continues to focus on promoting its young talents, who also want to achieve great things in the coming season.
